California 1998 Section 303(d) List Information

This document provides California's 1998 Clean Water Act Section 303(d) list, which was partially approved by US EPA on November 3, 1998. This version of California's 303(d) list was converted from an electronic file submitted by the California State Water Resources Control Board. US EPA believes this list to be identical to the hard copy of the final 303(d) list submitted by the State, but there may be minor discrepancies which US EPA did not find in comparing the electronic and hard copy versions of the 303(d) list provided by the State. To obtain a hard copy of the official 303(d) list submitted to US EPA by the State, contact Nancy Richard at (916) 657-0642. It should be noted that the San Diego Bay listing applies only to several small areas within the larger San Diego Bay waterbody unit.

The California 1998 Section 303(d) list has been divided into sections based on Regional Water Quality Control Boards for easy online viewing.
